The Honorary Consulate’s mandate is to follow up directly with Uzbekistan’s Embassy in Cairo which is responsible for such consular services as: protection of interests of Uzbekistan’s nationals in Jordan, issuance of visas and passports, legalization of documents for legal effect in Uzbekistan, notarization and registration of birth, death, marriage and divorce, trade and commercial inquiries, and so forth.
